NEELEY - LEAD VOCALS
Neeley is a multi-talented, Berklee College of Music trained singer and is one of the most acclaimed members of The Far. She frequently gets the crowd to sing with her when she is performing. Neeley and Dave complement each other with harmonies and energy on stage. Neeley’s passion for singing started very early and she likes every kind of music there is. Guitar and Piano are also part of Neeley’s talents as well as music and video production. She was the winner of the 2022 Hampton Idol Singing Competition hosted by Wally's Pub and has also competed and ranked for American Idol. Neeley fine tunes the bands set lists before every show. Neeley rocks out using a Shure 87A wireless mic.
DAVE - LEAD VOCALS/ACOUSTIC GUITAR
A founding member of The Far, Dave’s natural ability to be a front man combined with his singing skills keeps the energy high on and off the stage. Along with his vocal ability, Dave plays guitar and has been part of other acoustic and original bands. By way of being a club owner himself, Dave’s professional knowledge of the business and what venues are looking for has helped the band fine tune their set list and performance. Dave is the best front man around and instantly pulls the crowd into each live performance with his energy and passion. Dave also plays acoustic guitar and percussion during our live shows. Dave plays Taylor acoustic guitars and uses a Sennheiser wireless mic.
MARK - LEAD GUITAR
Another founding member and general manager of The Far, Mark is well known in New England by musicians and other professionals in the industry. With over 40 years experience under his belt, Mark has played in many well-known bands and is known for his ability to rip guitar leads and for his duplication of difficult solos from Eddie Van Halen and other guitar greats. Mark’s leadership and musical ability are the backbone of The Far. Mark plays Ibanez and Alvarez guitars with D'Addario strings , Carvin and Mesa Boogie amps, EVH amplification and Line 6 FX.
CHARLTON - BASS GUITAR
Charlton (Chuck) Guepy has played bass for several bands in New England. Chuck is able to play the heaviest metal or the ‘pop’iest pop song with little effort. Chucks live performance is second to none. His stage presence makes the party! When you see him on stage he is completely involved in the show and barely stands still. Chucks experience is very broad. He has been part of opening acts for bands like Puddle of Mudd, Saliva, Days of The New, Soulfly, Mushroomhead, and others. Chuck provides The Far's onstage lighting and special FX. Chuck’s bass is the foundation for The Far’s rhythm section. Chuck plays Darkglass Electronic Products exclusively. He also uses Fender bass guitars, Ampeg cabs/pedals, Line 6 wireless system and D'Addario strings.
JOHN - DRUMS
John is also a founding member of The Far and assists with the bands day to day administration. With over 30 years of experience, he is well known across New England as one of the areas top drummers. His hard hitting style and passionate live performances have gained the admiration of many. John's former original band toured professionally and performed on several national stages opening up for bands like Shinedown, Korn, Sevendust, Vertical Horizon, Fuel, Halestorm, Sebastian Bach, Puddle of Mudd, Drowning Pool, and Chevelle to name a few. John has additionally performed with some of the area's best cover bands and is also a proud US Army Veteran. John is endorsed by the Noble and Cooley Drum Company and performs exclusively on their products. He also uses DW hardware, Sabian cymbals, Remo drumheads, Shure in ear monitors and Vic Firth drumsticks.
BRIAN - KEYBOARDS
Brian is the The FAR's keyboardist and has played professionally in original and cover bands in the Carolinas, New York, and across New England. Brian’s musical background includes music theory and production, digital recording, piano, organ, and synthesizers. Brian additionally helps with the sampling and triggering of effects that the FAR uses in their diverse range of songs. Brian holds a masters degree in business administration and handles The Far's finances and business transactions. Brian plays Yamaha, Roland, and Korg Synthesizer workstations and Roland Keytars.
